Phantom Roller Hockey

Signs up begin this winter January 1st!

 

 Kingsway Skateland provides a fun, competitive, well-supervised roller hockey experience! Guys and girls (ages 5 & up) who desire to play, can, regardless of ability. All players will receive instruction in hockey fundamentals and advanced skills. Various age/skill groups including an adult group (>16). Hockey meets on Mondays and Thursdays at 7:35pm beginning January 23rd, 2012.    NO BODY CONTACT!

Signups will be this fall at Kingsway Skateland! Equipment too small or just want New?  Bring in your old equipment  to sell or trade. New hockey players can always use some used equipment to get started.  Kingsway Skateland sells all required equipment at their pro shop area except mouthpiece and cup.

 

 

 

What do players receive?                         

*Scheduled practices, scrimmages, games, and award banquet

*Instruction in Hockey principles from coaches with a combined 60 years of playing and coaching experience

*League play at various age divisions with a 16 session play/practice season ending with a championship game with the winners' names engraved on the Kingsway Cup.

*Nightly Hockey Trivia and Instructional material

*10% discount in the Skate Shop

*Eligibility for Regional & Travel team selection. Past and current players have participated and won at Regional and National Levels

*Skating session discount on the public skating sessions (valid only during participating hockey season)

 

 

 

Mandatory Equipment

- H.E.C.C. certified helmet with full shield or cage for <18 years
- Elbow pads
- Shin guards
- Hockey gloves
- Hockey stick- In-line or quad skates
- Mouthpiece
- Cup (male)
- Pelvic protector (female)

 

What is required to sign up?
- Fees
- Copy of Birth Certificate
- Parent/legal guardian to sign liability and emergency release form (<18)

  Fees: $75.00 each player per season
- Families with two or more players (First player-full price, second player $10.00 off)
